Solar pump technology

・Such system with abundant water would give additional livelihood to the farmers apart from saving diesel, reducing carbon foot print and improving environment.

・There are about 18 million pumps in the country which are connected with grid power and consume more than 20 per centof total electricity generated in the county.・There are around 7 million diesel pump-sets, which consume more than 4 billion liters of diesel every year.

・3 sets of prototype systems of solar submersible pumps were installed at the end of January, 2016 with the support of METI.・Test sites were prepared by Ministry of Agriculture.・We have succeeded with data transmission originated by the system to PC’s and/or Smart phones (using IoT).
