MISSION STATEMENT

“To facilitate the growth and development of the Saint Lucia Services Sector, through the adoption of high service standards, fostering activism and education on trade in services issues and promoting the pursuit of strategies to sustain service providers’ competitiveness in the global marketplace.”

●Late 1990’s St Lucia as part of CARICOM identified services as a priority sector

2001 Meeting of Heads of Government Mandated Establishment of Services Coalitions

●January 2009 SLCSI Relaunched

17 % of population (28,068) between 15-24 years old!!

41 % of population (68,052) under 35 years old!!!

Government and others for cross-sectoral services trade and development issues;

SLCSI encourage service suppliers to become members of an Association or Chamber to access the benefits of the coalition;

SLCSI provides opportunities for leverage created by other sub-sectors ;

SLCSI provides support to member associations in meeting their respective objectives;
