The Loch Ness Monster• An old legend says that a

sea monster lives in Loch Ness.

• Every year thousands of tourists travel to Scotland’s most famous lake in hope of spotting “The Lady of the Lake”.

• In 1987 the whole lake was searched with sonar. The scientists found something that appeared to be bigger than a shark, but smaller than a whale. They checked for signals a second time, but didn’t find anything. Why didn’t they find her?

• Perhaps it is because Loch Ness is very deep and dark.

• There are some photos which show something that looks like a monster.

• In 1934, someone took this picture. Do you think it’s real?

Can Loch Ness be hiding a monster after all?
