Zonal Youth U-19 Championshipsin the 4 BFU Zones

Each Zone consists of:

- youth teams of A and B Division Men teams

- youth teams of C Division Men teams (optional)

Elite U-17 Championship

Coaches must possess UEFA B diploma or higher

4 out of 7 substitute players are allowed to play in a game

16 teams participate in round system of a 2-half season

Elite U-17 Championship is administrated by BFU Youth Department

4 professional players (older than 19) of the same club are

allowed to play in the Championship


16 teams participate in round system of a 2-half season

BFU Cup Tournaments

28 Regional tournaments in the 4 BFU Zones

16 teams participate in theFinal Stage on elimination bases- Sofia Zone 5 teams;

- Plovdiv Zone 5 teams;

- Veliko Tarnovo Zone 3 teams;

- Varna Zone 3 teams

Participation rights:

- boys (players born after 01.01.1997)

- YouthU-16 (players born after 01.01.1995)

- YouthU-18 (players born after 01.01.1993)

Regional and ZonalCouncils organize small sided

tournaments for boys U-11 with small-size goals

Regional and ZonalCouncils organize tournaments

for boys U-13 with normal-size goals


Regional and Zonal Councils issue the Regulations for the tournaments
