Ports of Entry Security
There was a decrease in seizures and arrest for all crimes during the period 2009/2010 to 2010/2011 due to new recruits deployed at Ports of Entry which ensured a high level of visibility which served as a deterrent to criminals and the intensified International and Regional Cooperation of Law Enforcement Agencies, which makes it difficult and high risk for criminals to move across common borders.
