Activities Transmission and distribution

Inabensa is an international reference in the transmission and distribution of electric energy

•Alternating current lines (AC): lower investment and greater ease in controlling the network. •Direct current lines (DC): highly suitable for long distances, due to lower losses. •Underground lines: up to 400 kV. •Voltage levels : from low voltage lines (less than 1 kV) to high and very high voltage (400 to 800 kV).

AIS (Air Insulated Switchgear): Conventional SS, their switchgear, cables and busbars are air insulated.

GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear): They require less space and are utilized in locations with extreme weather conditions, are armored and their switchgear and busbars are insulated in SF6 gas.

Hybrid SS: A combination of AIS and GIS, with outdoor busbars and gas-insulated switchgear. Less space.

Converter stations: located at the ends of the lines, conversion between DC and AC.

Lines: Currents and voltages Substations (SS)

9

During the XXI century , more than 26,000 km of lines and almost 300 substations have been built

Since 2008, according to Engineering News –Record magazine, Abeinsa is the biggest T&D international contractor .

Canada: 230 kV HVL AC, +- 200 HVDC, 412 km. Maritime Link

India: 2 HVL DC 800 kV and 400 km Gorakhpur-Gomti River/ Islampur – Saharsa

Saudi Arabia: Two 380/132/11 kV GIS SS in Jeddah and Riyadh

Ukraine: 750 kV HVL AC Zaporizhia- Kakhovska SS, 187 km

Oman: Three 132 kV SS and associated lines

Guatemala, Panama, Costa Rica and Nicaragua: 230 kV HVL, SIEPAC. 1,233 km

Main projects

Accreditations and certifications with leading public and private sector companies are available.
