HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY

Like sparkling mineral water, gas bubbles in a closed bottle are not seen until you open the bottle. This is the Henry's physical law that says the gases are diluted in the liquid when they are under pressure. The same happens when we breathe O2 (gas) in a pressurized cabinet (container) and O2 gas is diluted in the blood plasma which is 50% water, generating a strong Hyperoxia.

The hyperbaric chamber has over 200 years and this new category of chambers manages to expand its use to other specialties, facilitating its incorporation to the institution at an efficient cost with high acceptance of patients.

In the daily use we verify the therapeutic efficacy of HBOT in healthy patients through

scientific research.

➢ Treatment at 1.4ATA does not modify the biochemical parameters of the acute phase

inflammation or the oxidative stress in healthy volunteers. Significant increase of

antioxidant enzyme suggests the effect of hyperoxia in healthy patients.

➢ The fluctuations of biochemical parameters at 10 and 20 sessions are kept within

reference values: physiological response conserved in healthy volunteers.

➢ Treatment is safe and well tolerated, with no adverse effects.

CONCLUSION:

The strong HYPROXIA increases the dissolved oxygen volume in blood plasma. This increase in O2 diffusion reaches less irrigated tissues.

INSTALLING A HYPERBARIC CAMERA

OXYGEN CONCENTRATOR

Mask with disposable reservoir recommended for maximum therapeutic efficiency.

➢ We recommend that you use the closed mask with reservoir and with the exhaust valves plugged.

➢ This mask delivers 100% of the O2 available.

➢ The more O2 inspires the patient the more effective the treatment will be.

➢ Some children do not like to use the mask and they have to be placed buttresses but this reduces the concentration of O2 by 50%.

OXYGEN MASKS

Hyperbaric chamber maintenance The maintenance is done by the same operator of the equipment with the instructions that generates the BioBarica global system. The on-line system notifies the operator of all the necessary maintenance for the equipment to function properly.

Technical support The BioBarica network accesses the extended factory warranty up to 4 years (optional) and in case of a problem the replacement is sent immediately. In case of having a technical problem, BioBarica replaces the product. Its network of distributors has all the elements to provide the local service immediately.

Guarantee The chamber comes with factory guarantee for 1 year except the door lock system which has a lifetime guarantee. If the customer wishes, he can purchase the extended guarantee for 4 years.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Treatment pressure

You can lower the treatment pressure but you can not raise it. The equipment operating in

standard form only works at 1.4 ATM but in some cases the doctors decide that it is necessary

to work at lower pressure and open the outlet valve 1 or 2 points and the internal pressure

stabilizes in values between 1.1 and 1.4 ATM according to indications.

Which is the difference with rigid chambers?

Rigid chambers are used with high pressure. This requires high maintenance costs and a

specialized operator. Also by being a highly pressurized equipment, the safety requirements

are very high. Furthermore, the treatment is more aggressive and stressful for the patient.

Advantages of Revitalair 430 compared with low pressure chambers

In the market there are low pressure 1.3 ATM chambers that are offered at very low prices.

Ours are medical equipment certified to 1.4 ATM which is the minimum pressure for hyperbaric

treatment.

Which is the difference with rigid chambers?

Rigid chambers are used with high pressure. This requires high maintenance costs and a

specialized operator. Also, for being a pressurized equipment, the safety requirements are very

high and the treatment is more aggressive and stressful the patient.

Chamber Operation

The equipment is ready to run all day. It only rests 5 minutes per hour which is the time in

which a patient leaves and another enters.
