Intelligent production, storage and management of photovoltaic energy

PV ON TIME aims to develop a prototype to manage produc�on and storage of electrical energy ON TIME. The prototype will inte -grate a sensor network and advanced telecommunica�ons and it is aimed at large photovoltaic plants of 30, 60, 90 MW and scalableto other plants size, both na�onally and interna�onally. This intelligent system will have the capacity to produce electricity ON TIME,considering the reliability, stability and security aspects of the system.

The project consists of the development of hybrid energy storage(HES) systems that allow for an increase of energy density andpower as well as greater flexibility for storage solu�ons in electricmobility, aerospace applica�ons and residen�al self-consump�on.

Prediction of the solar resource for photovoltaic installations

The LIFE GREEN SEWER project aims to validate of a new secondarywastewater treatment system based on a direct-indirect osmosisintegra�on with a anaerobic membrane bioreactor, allowing at thesame �me the recovery of energy and resources, reducing the pre-sence of contaminants, costs and energy consump�on.

The proposed solu�on is based on a combina�on of membrane technologies that takes place in two stages: a preconcentra�onwith direct-indirect osmosis and an anaerobic reactor with ultrafiltra�on membranes. In addi�on, the technology LIFE GREENSEWER will have a monitoring and control system to record the amount of biogas generated, op�mize energy consump�on,minimize water losses and reduce and monitor discharges of pollutants emergent and pathogenic. This new system will allow therecovery of resources, in line with the Strategic Economic Plan Circular of the European Commission, obtaining biogas, nutrientsand water for reuse. In addi�on, it will also be carried out the monitoring and reduc�on of discharges of emerging pollutants andpathogens, as well as the reduc�on of consump�on energy and water losses, and the decrease in opera�ng costs of secondarywastewater treatment.

TheECOSCIREsystemhardwarewill be composedof amodular box for DIN rail moun�ng (IEC60715) in which the printed circuits,display,bu�ons and,in general,all the electronic circuitry that integrates the equipment that occupy.In addi�on, it will incorporate anovelsystemof current intensity sensors,calledthe lineararrayof sensorsofelectric current intensity,whichwill allow, inaneconomicway, to record the measurementof the current intensity of Mul�ple circuits in a smallspace.

Occupational exposure to polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in solar thermal plants: early analysis

It studies what is a mark for the health of the workers who operate in solar thermal plants the con�nuous exposure to their usual workenvironment. Knowing the reality of this impact on occupa�onal health, as well as its e�opathogenesis, allows the design of strategiespreven�ve measures, both individually and collec�vely. In this project the latest advances are taken into account scien�fic-technologicaltools needed to determine and define molecules capable of func�oning as biomarkers of exposure to PAHs, their op�mal clinicalvalues, as well as the jus�fica�on and design necessary to launch a study observa�onal and prospec�ve clinic.
