Examples: - I do not like pizza. -She does not play baseball.

After do not or does not the verb is always in the base form.-He likes soccer. -He does not like soccer. - She studies English.- She does not study English.

Negatives: For negative statements, use "not".-I am not listening. - She is not talking.

Questions: To form questions, change the order of the sentence.- Are you listening? -Is she talking?

Uses: Present continuous is for actions happening right now. This could mean at this every moment: I am watching television.

Or, it could mean now in general.- She is working at the gas station.

The structure of the present continuous looks like this: Subject + BE + Verb (ING)

Examples: -I am working. -He is talking on the phone. -They are sleeping. The present continuous is used to show actions that are happening right now. When you listen to the Lemon Tree, the present continuous sentences the singer is using mean "right now".
