WELCOME The church family welcomes Jackson and Liam Cline (baptism) to West-ern Avenue Baptist. Jackson and Liam are the sons of Cory and Liz Cline.

Welcome Patrick and Kayla – We are thrilled to welcome our newest pas-toral staff member, Patrick Wolstencroft, and his wife Kayla. Patrick will serve as our Minister of Missions and Outreach, leading us in our call to take the gospel to Statesville and around the world. Patrick grew up in Macon, GA, and graduated from Valdosta State University. He is currently enrolled at Gateway Seminary (SBC) in California and is in the process of transferring to Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He served as one of our Southern Baptist missionaries in India for a few years, meeting Kayla in the process. Kayla grew up at Western Avenue and is the daugh-ter of Carl and Lynn Dunkin. Patrick and Kayla were married in December 2015 and are expecting their first child in October.
