Welcome To Sunrise Learning !!Dear Parents,Sunrise Learning welcomes you and your family to a childcare center, with an active-learning social environment. Its USP is the unique, secure and relaxed setting, where caring, sharing and cuddling are all significant parts of our daily activities. We firmly believe that a ‘healthy childhood’ should be a much bigger priority than ‘early education’, and more emphasis should be laid on ‘interactive play’ than learning to ‘follow instructions’. And at Sunrise we strive to come-up to these beliefs. We also believe in thorough two-way communication between the provider and the parents. Sunrise appreciates your confidence and trust, and hopes to partner with you and your family as we attempt to develop your child‘s Social, Emotional, Cognitive, Intellectual and Physical well being along with you.

Respectfully yours,Dr Sonali KatariaFounder, Sunrise Learning FoundationCenter-Head, Sunrise Learning, Noida

Our Motto:Special love and Unique learning

Mission Statement:To offer school children a healthy, happy and loving learning environment, through structured play-education programs

with novel, pioneering play-way methods, a flexible customized child-directed theme based curriculum, using customary application of rules of conduct and a thorough

regular assessment of each child’s development. To create an atmosphere of free expression, creativity and

enthusiasm, that inspires the development of independence, willpower and confidence in our children.

To promote the above through awareness programs directed towards parents and the community at large through

seminars and forums sponsored by Sunrise Learning.

To keep HEALTHY & HAPPY CHILDHOOD our FIRST priority .

Mumma, you always ask me, what do I do all day?

And you always want to hear that I LEARNT “this” today.

And when I tell you that I made flowers,

You say “Oh that’s just kids PLAY”…!!!

But mumma, I’m a child, To learn, I need to play

You can learn through various ways, but play is my only way.

When I’m building towers, from blocks of sand & clay

I’m learning skills of balance, Please don’t say, its useless play.

When I am playing with dolls, It looks like sissy play

I am learning to cuddle and love, I’ll be a father some day.

When you see me drenched in paint, my face smeared with clay,

I am being creative, I might be an artist one day…!!!

When I’m playing roles, of teacher, doctor or a professor,

I might one day be one of them, or maybe a great actor ..!!

When I’m combing, grooming, brushing or helping my friends in need,

I am being INDEPENDENT, I’ll be a GREAT HUMAN BEING indeed…!!!

When you see me engrossed in a puzzle, or some plaything in school,

Remember, I am learning to focus & concentrate, to solve my problems with cool.

When you see me arranging, manipulating or thinking, lost in a little world,

Believe me, I am growing, to learn to tell you every thought, every word.

When you see me jumping, skipping & hopping everywhere

Please get me some sports gear, and a roller skates pair.

So next time when you ask me, what I did at school all day,

When I say “I played”, remember, I am learning as I play.

I am learning to share & care, Im learning give & take,

I am learning to follow directions when I cook & I bake.

I am learning to work in a team, and waiting for my turn,

I am working so hard, I am always on the run….!!!

I am preparing for tomorrow, when I will be grown up & big,

I will have to give up my games & all the fun things,

Then I will have loads of work and no time to play..!!!

Today I am a child, and my WORK is PLAY.

Its not just play…!!!

Harmony of mentors

I dreamt I stood in a studioAnd watched two sculptors there.

The clay they used was a young child’s mind,And they fashioned it with care.

One was a teacher- the tools she used were music, toys & art.

The other, a parent- working with a guiding hand, And a gentle loving heart.

Day after day, the teacher toiledWith a touch that was deft and sure. While the parent labored by her side,And polished and smoothed it over.

And when at last, their task was done, they were proud of what they had made

For the things they had molded into the child,Was a foundation well laid.

And each agreed they would have failedIf each had worked alone,

For behind the teacher stood the school,And behind the parent, the home.
