Your customers will feel the warm wishes of your holiday card if you don’t use it as a thinly veiled marketing attempt. This will stand to improve your brand recognition and customer loyalty. Wish them a happy holiday, and let it go at that.

Always use “Happy Holidays” and “Seasons Greetings,” instead of “Merry Christmas,” “Happy Hanukkah” or “Joyous Kwanzaa.”

Take the economy into consideration. Some have rebounded, but some may be worse off than last year. Past behavior may give you some insight into this issue. Wise email marketers who are sensitive to the new economic realities can still manage to obtain competitive advantages.
