My School Magazine

Front CoverOn my front cover, I used a red font for the title, “King’s Sport”. I decided to make it a sports magazine, to represent the King’s School’s status as a Sports academy. I chose red because it really stands out and draws the reader’s attention to it.

I made the articles in the magazine relevant to sport, but also to what is going on at school so it can be suitable for everyone.

ContentsI used the same font and colours as the Front page, because I wanted there to be a theme in the magazine.

The main stories in the magazine are written in bold, with the most important parts written in Red as well. Using words such as “exclusive” makes the reader want to know more about this interview.

The two photos show different parts of the school life, and also draws in the reader’s attention to what is inside the magazine.

EvaluationOverall, I am quite proud of my Magazine. However there are aspects where I think I could have made it better. For example, I think I should have added some more colour onto the Front page, to make parts stand out a bit more, and maybe make some space for a competition inside the magazine.

On my contents page, I think the photos were too long, so I think more time should have been spent on organizing where everything would go and how it would look afterwards. I had some more photos I would have liked to have used, but there wasn’t enough space and I felt that I needed to have the information on the magazine because that was the important part of it.
