Introductory word from the President Dear shareholders, Ladies and gentlemen,

In the name of the Board of Directors of EGTop I introduce to you the preliminary annual evaluating the

activity of our company for the period Octobe 2007 – March 2008. Included in the report is a schedule of upcoming events together with their preparatory finance plan.

Our activity is influenced by the surroundings, in which we are situated. The city of Tisovec can be characterised as a region with insufficient possibilities for personal growth and self-realization of our students. Another factor is a shortcoming of cultural and athletic events being provided. The flexibility of our company has enabled us to take into account these saddening factors and during our present activity we have brought the students and teachers at Evanjelické gymnázium in Tisovec a packet full of products and services reflecting their needs and demands.

An important indicator of the fruitfulness of our enterprise is the costumers‘ contentment, which is our priority number one. The fulfilmentNaplnenie očakávaní študentov hodnotím pozitívne na základe početnej účasti na zorganizovaných kultúrnych a športových podujatiach a značného dopytu po poskytovaných produktoch. Veľký záujem zo strany našej cieľovej skupiny zákazníkov je pre nás aj odrazom kvality, ktorú sme priniesli.

Na základe uvedených údajov musím konštatovať, že svojím doterajším pôsobením sme naplnili víziu, ktorú sme si stanovili v deň založenia spoločnosti. Ďalej verím, že našimi aktivitami sme prispeli k zvýšniu kultúrneho a športového povedomia študentov našej školy a tým dopomohli k efektívnejšiemu využívaniu ich voľného času.

Ďakujem členom Predstavenstva a Dozornej rady EGTop š. s. V školskom roku 2007/2008 odviedli veľký kus práce, ktorou prispeli k úspechom a dobrému hospodáreniu našej spoločnosti. Dúfam a zároveň očakávam, že v takomto pracovnom nasadení budeme pokračovať až do konca funkčného obdobia EGTop.

Action description: As the Christmas holidays were approaching, we organized a sale of handmade Kirigami. These served as postcards, which the students could buy and send to their classmates through the members of EGTop. The postcards contained a Christmas and a New year theme.

NAIL FILES

Date: March 2008

Action description: Based on a huge popularity of nail files with a sand-dressed motive, some of the members of EGTop decided to learn how to make these files with the help of professionals. They mastered the technique of sanding in a relatively short time. This way our company produced several of our own files, which will soon be introduced to the market.

PENDANTS

Action description: On account of the students wearing pendants on schoobags and key rings, EGTop has decided to produce them as well. The pendants will be manufactured of spaghetti insulation made into long shapes of various length or fish shapes. The sale will take place at our school at a time announced in advance.

Action description: Over the course of the school year many interesting events take place at EGT which everybody wishes to remember. The Yearbook published in the form of a DVD will not only record such important events as matriculation, the ball, coffee house and others, but will also provide the chance to go back in time, return to the school desks and be reminded of all the classmates.

Action description: A good file shouldn’t be missing in the equipage of any lady. EGTop knows that, and thus we proposed our glass nail files. These files, which the students and teacher could buy from our members, are manufactured from high quality flakeless material and are extremely thrifty to the nails, whereby there’s no wear-out. They were available in different sizes, colors and with various motives.

Action description: The EGTop company has decided to make a use of the undying demand for new pieces of clothing. This time we decided to produce T-shirts with a cloth printing and a logo or names of the students.

Action description: The student disco with the name Black and White Party was an opportunity for the students to dance and have fun in a pleasing atmosphere, which was created by all the attending students. Our demand was it that the students had to dress up in a black and white fashion. During the whole event a small buffet with refreshments was available.

ST. NICHOLAS VISIT TO THE ORPHANAGE

Date: 5.12.2007

Action description: During the Christmas season, which is typical for the need to help people around us, we planned a visit to the orphanage in Tisovec. During one day we had a collection of offerings which many of our students participated in. The collected finances were used to buy sweets and fruits, which were then pack into St. Nicholas packages and distributed to the children in the orphanage. A beautiful program full of games and music with traditional symbols like St. Nicholas, an angel and a devil was prepared for the kids to enjoy. This event wasn’t organised to gain profit. On the other hand, we as a student company wanted to brighten up the day for those who really need it.

COFFEE HOUSE (TALENTSHOW)

Date: 3.12.2007

Action description: Coffee House, which had the subtitle Talentshow, was aimed to search for new talents of our school and at the same time for the presentment of already existing groups as the choir and the school band. The students could present their talent in various sorts of art: singing, dancing, playing an instrument, visual arts, theater, We also had scenes which didn’t compete and were there just for the amusement of the attending. The entry fee included cappuccino or tea, which were passed out throughout the night.

VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT

Date: 18.12.2007

Action description: The traditional Christmas volleyball tournament took place this year, too. Each grade or class had their own team, which then competed. This year our tournament was enriched by the final match between the winning team and the team of the professors. Even though the match had a balanced progress, the victory went to the team with the long-time experience.

Date: 8.2.2008

Action description: The ball season inspired the students of EGTop to organise the 12. annual school ball. This event opened the doors of our school to the alumni, who always love to return to Tisovec. The whole evening had the atmosphere of fine music, dances and delicious food. Upon entering, each lady was given a rose from one of the members of EGTop. Until 1 pm, two groups were performing for the dancers. Afterwards, when the oficial part had ended, the fun continued with a discotheque until early morning.

Mini – FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT

Date: 12.2.2008

Action description: Another sports event organised by our student company took place in the gym of the technical school in Tisovec. Since our school is attended by lots of students, who practice football in their free time, we had a lot of teams participating. All the players and the guests, who came to cheer for their classmates, had an agreeable afternoon.

Date: April 2008

Action description: Table football (foosball) belongs to the favorite freetime activities, which don’t require nice weather nor good physical condition. For these reasons EGTop has decided to respond to the demands of the students who have expressed an interest in participating in such an event. The matches will be held in the local sweetshop, which has agreed to co-operate with our student company.

Action description: The event Slave originated from the iniciative and self-sacrifice of our members. They were sold by means of an auction and had to serve their „owners“ for 5 hours. The students and teachers used their slaves mostly for writing homework, cleaning up or doing some other work. The conditions under which a slave could or couldn’t have been used were stated beforehand.

Action description: By selling these symbolic little packages we reminded the students and teachers of the St. Nicholas holiday. The packages contained sweets in the form of chocolate, candy or biscuit together with fruit and peanuts.

BUFFET

Date: January – May 2008

Popis akcie: Long lines in the buffet, limited time and a lack of pastry. Such are the problems which caught our attention and the result is a small buffet selling fresh pastry. There’s approximately 10 kinds of buns or rolls to choose from. During every break, the sale is provided for by two students, who are on duty that week. The keeping of all hygienic conditions is ensured by one of our members who has a bill of health.

Projects Project Europe

The main goal of this project is to establish communication with foreigh high schools, which also offer the applied economy course. We center on an exchange of ideas in the sphere of products and providing services and also on a possible exchange visit. Nowadays we actively communicate with the student company UniFo, which operates in Ostrava, Czech Republic. The exchange visit is planned for the first week of april.

Human resources

The quality of our firm is directly proportional to the success of the company at the market of products and services. It’s a reflection of the quality of the company’s goals, the quality of work organisation and last but not least the quality of the people, who perform the work given. The number one priority of our department is therefore to ensure such working conditions for the members of the student company that would contribute to their general satisfaction and thus to an improvement of their job performance. A clearly set goal and the vision of the company’s progressing serve as a motivation. Another positive factor, which influences the students, is the salary, which was decided to be 10 Sk/h at the General Assembly. The first wages, fixed upon the number of hours worked off, were paid in January 2008. The next salaries will be distributed in the first half of May 2008. Marketing AS the main tasks of our department we consider market research, communication with potential customers and setting the right prices. Market in our field of activity:

The strongest group of our customers is made up of the students of Lutheran High School in Tisovec. While selling and setting prices of our products and services we take into consideration the financial situation of the average student. This strategy requires a great amount of creativity from our side and a reduction of expenses of producing and organising events to a minimum. Competition:

In our sphere of effect we haven’t registered any activity of other firms (or other student companies), which would represent a direct competition.

Marketing Strategy:

Communication The key factor of our company’s success is providing communication with our potential customers and

subsequently ensuring distribution flexibility in accordance with their demands. Indirect communication takes place by means of questionnaires. Chosen representatives of EGTop also ensure direct communication in the form of personal contact.

Consumer awareness Product and event propagation is administered through the schoold broadcast and posters, which are located in

advance in frequent places, and also at our company’s bulletin board. Price regulation While setting the prices we take the financial situation of the students into account.
