STAGES OF THE LESSON

Warm-up: The teacher greets the students, introduces the guest and asks if anybody is absent. (2 minutes)

Activity 1

Aim: - Homework check-upInteraction: T-Ss, Ss-TTime: 5'Materials: students' notebooksProcedure: The teacher checks the homework randomly, grading the students that gave the best answers.

Activity 2

Aim: to set the sceneInterraction: T-SsTime: 5'Procedure: The teacher puts the posters on the blackboard and tells the students that they are going to revise the vocabulary regarding clothes, seasons, weather and the -ing ending.

Activity 3

Aim: to revise the vocabulary related to weather, seasons, clothes.Interraction: T-SS, Ss-T, Ss-SsTime: 15'Procedure: After the posters are set, the teacher starts to put near the drawings, the posters containing the seasons. After that she starts to put diffrent clothes items but some of them are wrong. So she asks a student to come at put the right clothes for that season. This task can be done using both posters at the same time.

Then the teacher lets the students to put clothes on the drawings making sure that the students that come to the blackboard tell the other students the clothes each drawing wears.

Activity 4

Aim: to revise the -ing endingInterraction: T-SS, Ss-T, Ss-SsTime: 10'Procedure: After the vocabulary regarding clothes, seasons, weather is checked the teacher announces the next task. Here the student will once more use the posters, but this time they will take turns in dressing them the way they want. The boys will have the male drawing and the girls will have the female drawing. After they are finished they will have to describe what are the drawings wearing. (He / She is wearing......) While two students are at the blackboard the other student will write in their notebooks the what the students at the blackboard say.

Activity 5

Aime: to ensure the feedbackInterraction: T-SS, Ss-TTime: 5'Procedure: After the task is completed and as many as possible students have come to the blackboard the students will take turn in reading some of the sentences they have written in their notebooks.

Activity 6

Time: 3'Homework. The teacher gives each student a worksheet that contains exercises related to clothes, weather, -ing ending, seasons
