Preaching a BIG GOD Late Summer 2015 What is holding you back? Recently I had the privilege to preach for a week to a group of teens at a camp in Michigan. The theme that week was NAVIGATE. As I prepared for the weekI thought of the journey of life that each of us travels. God has a plan for each life. I preached about the things that keep us tied to the dock. The photograph above was taken during that message. There are many things that will hold us back from the destination to which God desires to take us. Fear, Foolishness, Friends, Family, and Finances are all "ropes" that will hold you back from the journey. Cast them off and follow Christ!!!! Launch out and Live for Christ!!!! Follow the SON! Evangelist Philip A. Schipper 1 Family It has been a joy to be with family this Summer. Our youngest daughter, Brooke graduated in May from Pensacola Christian College with a degree in Nursing. All our children were able to attend and we enjoyed several days together on the Gulf Coast. Faith We are thankful for God's provision as we travel. Our faith was once again increased as the radiator in our coach needed to be replaced. The work was done, and the need was met through the generosity of God's people. His timing amazes me! Focus Much has changed in our country and culture in the past few months. Our focus must NOT change. Family
It has been a joy to be with family this Summer. Our youngest daughter, Brooke graduated in May from Pensacola Christian College with a degree in Nursing. All our children were able to attend and we enjoyed several days together on the Gulf Coast.
Faith

The Impact of Choices...
Life is a series of choices. In the beginning, our choices have very minimal consequences. The older we become, the more our choices effect us and those with whom we are connected. I recently read these words:
"You are born looking like your parents, but you die looking like your choices."The reality of that statement began to wash over me as I considered the choices that I have made. Most choices that look small, in actuality, have HUGE implications. The "easy road" is only easy until you are too far to turn back. Proverbs 3:5-6 reads, "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." I have never regretted trusting the LORD.
I don't regret one mile, I've travelled for the Lord...
