Solicitation Overview

SOLICITATION PURPOSE:

The City of Houston, Houston Airport System, is seeking a project team to manageconstruction activities with a focus and commitment to achieve construction safetyand coordinated scheduling to avoid unplanned loss or closure of the runway andtaxiway as a result of these miscellaneous airfield pavement repairs. Thecollaborative effort between HAS and the Contractor will create enhanced synergiesthroughout delivery of the Project. The successful Contractor will assemble a teamthat is experienced and technically proficient to work collaboratively with HAS staff,other consultants, and stakeholders.

Perform intermediate repairs to airside pavements, drainage and grounds to remove the hazard(s) of Foreign Object Debris and increase service life on the aircraft travel lanes

These repairs are considered key to maintain the safe passageway for air traffic and meet minimum FAR 139 certification criteria.
