SCRIPTURAL PROMISES TO OVERCOME THE ENEMY OF PROGRESS AND SUCCESS 2 COR1:20; 1 KG 8:58; ISAIAH 55:11; EZE 12:28; EPH 6:18; JER 33:3; DEUT 20:1-4; EX 23:22-28; EX 33:13-17; JOSH 1:8. There are great promises in the scripture for us to overcome the enemy of our progress and success. God has been faithful in keeping his promises for believers who keep His commandments and obey His words (Psalm 1:1-3). The fulfilment of the promises contained in the blessing of God is on the condition that we obey God’s word. The blessings in the promises are for the righteous. If we do obey Him, he will become an enemy to our enemies. He will do all He has promised because He has never failed. Has He said it He will surely fulfil it. Heaven and earth may pass away but the Word of God will never pass away. He is always an overcomer. He will help you to overcome the enemy of your success and progress. 2. The power of God to overcome all the enemy of progress is still available today though He is not physically present. He has given the power to all believers to overcome. Gods power makes us more powerful than Satan because greater is He that is in us than He that is in the world. Our God is a God of battle. He knows the limitations of the power of the Devil . He has provided for our victories over the devil. The prayer that produces a powerful influence is the immediate product of much time spent with God.
3. STRONG PUNGENT PRAYER TO OVERCOME THE ENEMY OF PROGRESS AND SUCCESSJAMES 5:15-16; PSALM 5:6; HEB 11:6; 1SAIAH 58:8-11.
The men who have overcome the enemy of progress and success have been early on their knees. He who fitters away the early morning opportunity and its freshness in other pursuits than seeking God will allow the enemy to overcome him. It must play no secondary role for us to overcome the enemies.
Men ought always to pray (LK 18:1). Withfervent prayer, we shall overcome. AMEN.
