ExplanationThis can be a tricky question.  Each time you flip a

2. In the second line she multiplied both sides by (3 + x) which would be alright except for the case where x = -3. In that case both sides would be multiplied by 0. And, of course, x does equal -3.

After making two mistakes, Jordan managed to get the right answer!
