Engineers day celebrations:

Department of CSE has celebrated engineer’s day on 15-09-2012 on account of sir

mokshagundam visweswarayya birthday and on this occasion quiz competitions were conducted

for II, III, IV B.Tech CSE Students.Prof.A.Nageswara Rao, HOD of CSE department welcome

the gathering and chief guest Dr.S.Sambhu Prasad, Principal of the college addressed the staff

and students. The winners of the above competition were awarded with mementos by our

principal Dr.S.Sambhu Prasad Garu.

Fresher’s Day Celebrations:

The senior students of II B.Tech CSE have arranged Freshers Day Celebrations on 26-9-2012 to

welcome the freshers to the college and the department. Few games and competitions are

conducted as spot events and a good response is noted from the freshers. A healthy interaction

session is organized under the guidance of HOD and the other faculty of the department. Dr. S.

Sambhu Prasad, Principal PEC, on his address to the students culminated the importance of anti-

ragging environment in the college and the students responded positively. He also emphasized

the role of the engineer and his responsibilities to the freshers that ignited the minds of the

students in performing their social and ethical responsibilities. Prof. A. Nageswara Rao, HOD

Department of CSE, on his address to the students explained the need of studying the subjects

regularly in a day-to-day basis. He also spoke of the innovative thoughts and implementing the

same in the four year course to keep them on-the-edge all the time with state-of-the-art

technology.
