Project Experience:-

Project 1: Volkswagen Atomium Production Support

Description: HP was chosen by Volkswagen as implementation partner for the Atomium project. E-automotive Siebel application is an offer and Contract management tool. The contacts, companies, Fleet Policy, Documents, Fleet Management and Marketing Campaign management were maintained in Siebel automotive application. Atomium is the one information and database for all brands of Volkswagen. Siebel system interacts with External system via the middleware ESB.

Scope of Project:

ESB as Middleware (IBM Web sphere V7.0.1.23) Oracle’s Siebel 8.1.9 as Customer Relationship Management application. Oracle Database 11g as database for the CRM. OBIEE for Reporting.

Responsibilities:

Worked as Siebel Admin and handle the ticket on User administration, Changing or adding responsibilities and positions.

Worked on Oracle Back-end modifications like creating SQL Queries, PL/SQL objects and also involve in some performance tuning approaches.

Preparing following reports SC Report, Health Check Report and Petra report. Doing application testing as a part of post deployment activities. Checking and resolving the tickets based on Application functionality as a part of Siebel

EAI. Testing the bugs reported in ALM tool in Application and created defects.

Description: Standard the company is a nationwide leader in providing customized document management and workflow solutions. Advances in technology have allowed Standard Register to broaden its scope of activities to include a variety of paper-based and digital business document management applications, from traditional commercial printing, digital print on demand and variable printing.

Customer1 is Siebel CRM application used by Sales Organization as the Sales Force Automation tool to assist Standard Register in providing one view of customers and to maintain tamp lets and get orders from customer at his location and have this synchronized so that orders are printed in a single location. This application also helps in maintaining and tracking sales and revenue generation for every sales team on individual basics.

Activities:

Customized object definitions in the business object layer (Business objects, Business Components, Links, Joins).

Created and customized applets, views, screens and application.

Involved extensively in creation and customization of Pick Lists

Unit Testing.

Production environment application support and maintenance. There are two different streams within the project. Providing Tier 2 application support which includes resolving tickets and completing the Service requests and Change Requests raised in Service Manager.

Worked with various Siebel entities like Accounts, Contacts and Opportunities apart from various others.

Worked with the Production support team to resolve the issues and with the implementation teams for successful Incident fixes Test and production environments.

To work on defects and enhancements which are the items of scope for intermediate releases.

Prepared Daily Status report and Monthly Status Report. Involved in Migration of code from development to QA and From QA to

production. Monitoring Inbound and Outbound Interface transaction. Siebel Admin Activities

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analyze the customer requirement and prepare System Design Specification. Developing relevant PL/SQL, SQL Query (ORACLE 10g) and VB Script changes as per user

requirement. Coding, Unit Testing according to our other counterpart divisions during various

releases/deployments. Doing pre/post deployment activities like migrating SRF, stopping the services and running

the inbound and outbound jobs after the completion. Trouble shooting the issues happened on user side by login to User system. Creating Incident, Change tickets and Service request in HP Service manager.
