Practice: Design "Swarms"

description

A quick talk on things we love: in this case, knitting while on phone calls (to "hack" the urge to multitask in a way that supports better focus), but most of the talk is on a new form of massively multi-designer brainstorming we're calling a "design swarm".

DESIGN SWARM | Overview & Pain Points

Design Swarm Tasks

Come up with a solution to make the assessment process more efficient. Try to think of novel UIs (we can always rein it back in later)

Design Principles

• We want to reduce the amount of time it takes to do an initial assessment

• Allow for non-linear workflow

• Show progress of questions asked as well as tasks accomplished

• Note taking should be associated or independent to a question and be easy to input
