2) ABC Garments manufactures T Shirt and sell to NKD Garments of Germany. Things

were very fine till last month. Today morning, Mr. Azad, merchandiser of ABC

Garments received an email from NKD. The message shocked him deeply. In the lastmonth, the shipment of PO# MN3150, style # BD1589TF reached on time. In total

20,000 TShirts were in the package. After opening each carton, buyer noticed that 10,000

Tshirts were in order but rest 10,000 pieces had problems. Colors were faded and black spots were at the back side of it. These TShirts are to be promoted in a Trade Show, and

thus buyer asks for 40% discount to be given on the purchase price. You work under Mr.Azad. You investigated and realized that it has happened due to power failure and the

claim is valid. You have arranged a generator only for operating dyeing machine. Thusyou wanted to accept the request placed by the buyer. Write a letter.

With reference on your letter dated November 01, 2009, our management has been

agreed to give you a discount of 40% on the purchase price for 10,000 T-shirts againstPO#MN3150, Style# BD1589TF.

In our last month shipment, 20,000 Tshirts were shipped. Among which, due to sudden

 power disruption, 10,000 T-shirts color got faded and black spots also shown up. Thesewere not seen during the production and dry process. However, avoiding such situation in

future, our management has already set up an automated generator for operating dyeing

machine.

We are confident that your European markets would like our fabrics and design. Thank 

you for staying with us.
