Managing Director Shri Mahesh Singh, IFS hoisted the national flag in presence of senior officers, employees, security personnel, retired employees and family members at the Company’s Mehsana Campus, as part of 73 rd Independence Day Celebrations. General Manager (Finance) & CFO Shri R.B. Kothari, I/c. Chief Engineer (Procurement) Shri V.M. Shroff, Additional Chief Engineer (Civil) Shri P.J. Trivedi, Additional General Manager (HR) Shri A.C. Prajapati, Additional Chief Engineer (Tech) Shri J.K. Darji, Additional Chief Engineer (Project & Renewable Energy) Shri G.H. Engineer, GETCO’s Addl. Chief Engineer Shri C.V. Samrat, other senior officers, employees, retired employees and children saluted the national flag on this auspicious occasion. In his ceremonial speech, Shri Mahesh Singh congratulated each and every officer and employee of this company, with whose sincere dedication and efforts, UGVCL bagged PTC Excellence Award recently. Further, Shri Mahesh Singh shared the outstanding performance indices and achievements of the Company on technical, finance and HR fronts. Offices of the Company, who actively encouraged Online Bill Payment as the preferred mode for electricity bill payment, were honoured with Certificates of Appreciation, along with eminent sportsperson of the Company and meritorious children of employees for their remarkable achievements. During the event, Shri Mahesh Singh and senior officers also offered letters to eligible apprentices of Mehsana Circle selected as Apprentice Linemen during Bharti Melas held under Mukhyamantri Apprenticeship Scheme. In order to create awareness about environment, a plantation drive was conducted, where Shri Mahesh Singh and senior officers planted and watered different plants in the campus. Senior officers, employees and their family members, who had gathered during the national event, felt a strong patriotic wave during the event when songs on patriotism were sung. The national event was later celebrated by a small get together with refreshments at Mehsana.
