New Sava intensa uhp summer tire:

Excellent handling and grip on dry and wet

Kranj, Slovenia, September 21, 2009 – Sava, one of Central Europe’s leading tire

manufacturers, is proud to introduce the Sava intensa uhp – a new ultra high-

performance summer tire that offers both excellent dry and wet handling performance

and lower fuel consumption levels to the cost-conscious driver of high performance

and sporty cars.

Very good dry handling performance.

The Sava intensa uhp tire offers drivers very good

handling performance in dry conditions. With its

large centre rib, stiff outside shoulder block and

wide cavity shape for improved pressure

distribution during cornering, the Sava intensa uhp

delivers precise steering and accurate cornering

abilities.

Excellent wet performance.

The new Sava intensa uhp tire tread features a full

silica compound technology, which significantly enhances the tire’s wet traction

capabilities. Additionally, the wide circumferential grooves aid efficient water 

absorption and dispersion, further adding to the tire’s ability to deliver excellent grip in

wet weather conditions.

Low fuel consumption

The Sava intensa uhp features a lightweight construction and carcass made of low

rolling resistance materials. Together with the full silica tread compound, this allows

the tire to deliver excellent fuel consumption levels.

Low noise level

The Sava intensa uhp tread pattern has an optimized pitch sequence and features

narrow lateral shoulder grooves that control noise energy distribution and reduce the

pattern noise level significantly.
