ICT Legal Frame WorkThree major pillars of Myanmar ICT laws are -

the Computer Science Development Law, 1996, the Electronic Transactions Law, 2004, the Wide Area Network Order.

It has been developed not by a systematic blueprint but by temporary needs ICT industry promotion function is very weak and no IP law yet.

Vision and Objectives

International cooperation in eGovernment Drawing of ICT Master Plan in cooperation with Korea International Cooperation Agency(KOICA) and Korea Information Strategy Development Institute (KISDI)

With the loan (about 11 billion won) from Korean Economic Development Cooperation Fund (K-EDCF) in May 2005, the government made a contract to establish a Myanmar Basic e-Government System.
