Increasing the number of learning hours in a day, rationalization of holidays and vacation, would provide a way to optimally utilize the resources like the Physical Infrastructure,

Land and Building with installed equipment and Human resource.

A very small percentage (hardly 2-3 %) opts for formal vocational courses after 8th to 12th class in India.

The focus of the placement on absorbing the competent workforce locally, that limits the migration of students to far off areas, could be of help in lowering the attrition in the Industry.

The interested companies that wish to recruit the potential talent from these ITIs could co-sponsor the training of the students they wish to recruit.

The provision of giving stipend on a monthly basis to the students may encourage them to pursue these professional courses the non-value adding hours
