I am attending Black Hawk

College linkages program for

Pre-Engineering.

I am currently a freshman attending BHC and WIU in a program called linkages. This program allows me to attend both colleges at the same time while locking in my tuition rate at WIU. I am taking classes at both BHC and WIU for Pre-Engineering and a minor in Environmental Engineering.

As we get further into the 21st

century we are growing more cautious of the environment we live in. Engineers apply the principles of science and mathematics to develop economical solutions for everyday problems. An environmental engineer is involved in water and air pollution control, recycling, waste disposal, and public health issues.

We had a great weekend! The kids swam in the lake, they had wild turkeys running around, they caught LITTLE blue gills. We had a camp fire every night, roasted marshmallows, and hot dogs. For breakfast we made Chorizo and Eggs wrapped it a tortilla and sprinkled with cheese, salsa and sour cream.

All the kids met new friends and played the entire weekend. The only downfall was the kids did get sunburned.

Finally, the campground was very nice. The bathrooms were clean and the owners were very personable. We had no problems with raccoons , like we do when we camp at Loud Thunder. I would recommend this campground . Usually we go to Loud Thunder, but his year we chose to go to the Old Timber. My boyfriend Todd of six years, my daughter Hannah, his two boys Riley, and Mason, and our friend Pat and his son Evan.

I love to cook big meals for everyone to eat. I find it very gratifying.

Who doesn’t like four wheelin’? Our kids love it.

Camping is must, brings you back to the basics… no TV, no phone… no electronics.

We saw Taylor Swift at the I Wireless Center in

Moline, IL on May 9, 2010. We had a great day.

First we got our nails done(pedicure and

manicure painted). Then we went and bought

new summer shoes, as we do every year. Then we went out for a great dinner at Buffalo Wild

Wings, and then headed for the concert. It was Mothers Day and her birthday present. We sang to every song.
