    1. INTRODUCTION PowerScan Series for OBD II / EOBD II /CAN is newly developed, specially designed for car owners or DIYs. With an PowerScan, you may quickly find out trouble causes of electronically controlled systems on your car by reading the trouble code (DTC) shown on PowerScan, and checking out trouble causes with attached MANUAL. Though so small, it has the same function as special tool of its kind and applicable to all models since 1996 with a 16-pin diagnostic socket for generic OBDII protocols (SAE JI850 PWM, SAE JI850 VPW, ISO 9 141-2 ). Note: PowerScan may automatically reset while being disturbed by strong static electricity. It is normal. 2. FUNCTIONS Reading trouble codes: Read DTCs of powertrain system. Clearing trouble codes: Clear the DTCs of powertrain system. 3. OPERATION When the CHECK ENGINE light is on, stop the car and apply the parking

    brake, start the engine then plug the PowerScan into the 16-pin socket , usually located under the instrument panel in the car.

    It will display [UIO P-SCAN OBD-CAN], then press the OK button. This process will repeat 4 times. If there is no trouble codes, it will display [- - - - ].

    Trouble codes will be cleared when press the Exit during displaying the trouble codes, if successfully, it will display [UIO P-SCAN OBD-CAN]].)

    FUNCTION for Buttons: 1. "OK": Read fault code 2. "EXIT": Clear EXIT 3. : Read the next fault code 4. : Read the previous fault code 5. : Back to the first fault code 6. : Go to the last fault code
