Our Community Briefing is sponsored by Take It Back - a national, youth-directed movement to reduce alcohol problems.
Take It Back is not an organization, a program or agroup – it’s a dynamic movement that’sfocused on research and action.
This presentation contains five sections:
I. Introduction
II. “Big Picture” data
III. Alcohol problems in the community
IV. Call to Action
V. Conclusion
You will need to insert the name of your
youth group and your town, region or
community into this slide by using Arial
font in 40 point size in white.
Slides 3 and 4 help your audience
understand you’re part of a national
effort to get youth involved in taking
action on alcohol issues.

If you have access to a copy of the film
“this place,” this would be a good place to
show it. The film captures today’s youth
drinking culture. It also looks at the
environments that youth are exposed to,
and offers a glimpse into what some
communities are choosing to do about it.”
If you do not have access to the film, insert
examples of local data or photos from your
CAP Survey findings.
Use the following five slides to provide data
(evidence) about the alcohol problem in
the community your group has chosen. If
you have experts speaking during this
section, insert their information (if possible)
into these slides.
Copy blank slides if you need more than
five slides in this section. Inserting other
speaker’s information into your own
overview helps the program flow and
makes the overall presentation appear
seamless.
