In the month of April we continued reaching new milestones as we are learning how to hold our bottles and rolling over. We loved learning and

singing “Five Little Ducks”. We also painted Blue Bonnets, & Octopus as our color of the month was purple. We enjoyed playing with our prop box

which included feather dusters, containers and scrubbers. For our sensory activity for this month we got to play with warm and cold toothpaste in a baggie. This has been a great month and we are really enjoying the warm

weather. We look forward to May and all the new things we will be learning.

Room 2 Ms. MaryAnn, Ms. Shantel, & Ms. Alyssa

April was a lot of fun for Room 2, we learned about “Bubbles, Mud, & Puddles”. We learned that rain is water and mixed together with dirt it makes mud that

we can squeeze. We read a lot of books, sang a lot of songs and rhymes while we did motions to go along. We made pictures of a duck, a blue bonnet,

a bird, and a pig playing in mud. We also had lot of fun during our Fiesta parade. It was so nice to see some of our parents there to enjoy this with us.

The month of April our children really enjoyed our bubble parties and learning to blow bubbles. Purple was our color of the month and “Oval” was our shape. We had fun painting with our oval sponges as well. Our song was “5 Little Ducks”. We welcomed our new friend Caleb to the

class. Room 3 is looking forward to summer and all the new things we will learn.

Learning about “Construction” this month was a fun theme to learn. All of us were excited and engaged with learning about all the different tools you can find in a toolbox and the different vehicles you can find at a construction site. We got to

do a lot of hands on activities, such as painting with toy dump trucks, and toy cement trucks. Our dramatic play included us playing with yellow hard hats , toy

hammers, and toy wrenches. We also celebrated Earth Day by making Earth crafts. We would like to say Thank you to all of our parents for your support at

Room 5 had a busy month exploring Bugs and Life Cycles. We welcomed 5 caterpillars into our classroom and we were

fascinated how big they got and then set them free as butterflies. We introduced the letters “X, Y, and Z”. We all enjoyed reading

“ABC Insects” We ended April with our Fiesta shoebox parade and learning about the life cycle of a frog!

What fun it was looking at Insects and bugs! The classroom made a book and learned so much about Exoskeletons, body parts and

their communities. The kids had fun using paint to create a ladybug, ant, and butterfly. We also learned the life cycle of a

butterfly as we watched our caterpillars move through their life cycle, then we were able to release them as butterflies. We

learned about the letter “Z” by tracing and singing songs. We also worked on the number 0 in our CARES handwriting workbook.

April was such a fun month, we learned about the life cycles of different animals and insects, specifically butterflies and frogs. We also talked about insects, their 3 body parts, and exoskeletons. We

made our own honeybee hives by stamping bubble wrap. We had our own caterpillars that we watched make their own chrysalis and then turn into butterflies. We ended the month by learning about frogs and

toads. We had fun playing eap frog to see who could jump the furthest.

Bugs, Bugs, Bugs! We loved our insect unit. We enjoyed learning and reading about Bees, Ants, Butterflies, Dragonflies, and so

many more. We even watched our very own caterpillars turn into a butterfly and then we released them! Ask us about the

difference between a frog and toad. We loved singing “5 Green Speckled Frogs”. Only 1 more month of school left, we can’t wait

to see what May brings! Welcome to room 8 Jackson, Justice, Reagan, Jason, Elias &

During the month of April we learned some exciting new discoveries. We grew our very own butterflies and we set them free. We also learned a frogs life cycle. We have also

been working on our Spanish words and speaking in full sentences. During our group learning we have been doing

very exciting experiments and have been learning the importance of safety while experimenting. We are very excited

as summer gets closer!

Room 9 Jr. Mr. Jeremiah

April was super fun filled, this month we learned all about careers. We took a look at all the different types of jobs and we discussed what our parents do at work. Then we all figured out what we want to be when we grow up and what we need to do

in order for us to achieve our dreams. We have one more month until summer arrives and we couldn’t be happier!

April was a lot of fun! We learned all about “Careers”. We started by talking about the highest paying careers. We also

learned about careers in Fine Arts, Business, and Professional Sports. We wrapped up the month by playing career bingo.

April also means Fiesta. We discussed the “Battle of the Flowers”, what it means and why we celebrate it. We also did a fun fiesta activity. May is already here and we can’t wait to see

what we are going to learn next! Welcome to Room 10 Jazlynn!
