Job Analysis Survey (JA) :
This survey instrument establishes the link between exam content and the knowledge, skills and abilities required for competent practice in
the profession.
The 2013 Job Analysis survey included responses from practitioners in all 50
states
The 2014 NCCAOM® Study Guides with New Exam Content Outlines
All certification exams for the NCCAOM Certification Programs must meet the examination content validity standards set forth by NCCA.

Eligibility to Test Certification Requirements
Meet education requirements under either Pre-Grad or Graduation hours and transcript
Submit application and applicable fees
Have verified transcript sent directly from the school.
Graduate from an ACAOM program with degree equivalent to certification application. Graduation Transcript on file submitted directly from the school
CNT on file submitted directly from the CCAOM
Passing score on all applicable exams

NCCAOM® Certification
• NCCAOM exams and certification confirm for the state regulatory agencies that you are competent to practice.
• Most state regulatory agencies require that NCCAOM sends an individual’s exam results (i.e., score report).
• Maintenance through continuing education (PDA Program) is required

Professional Conduct The NCCAOM Professional Ethics and Disciplinary Committee (PEDC) has the authority to investigate disciplinary actions taken against NCCAOM applicants and Diplomates and to impose sanctions on NCCAOM applicants and Diplomates according to the NCCAOM Procedures for Upholding Professional Conduct. Schools can request frameable Code of Ethics copies by e-mailing [email protected]

• Allow 4-6 weeks from the receipt of the completed application and official transcript.
• Allow 4-6 weeks from the date certification is processed to receive the official NCCAOM certificate and ID
