The RPT-9000 Repeater Solves Coverage Problems:
By “repeating” CDMA/AMPS/GSM signals originating from a cell site to the target location and then providing local coverage.
Enables the Operator to:
Firm up coverage in fringe, low lying and limited reception areas

1. Rural Telecoms Market - Providers of wireless network (cell phone service)to rural communities. The ability to provide cell phone coverage in remote communities is based on the population density which translates directly into revenue generation for the company. Installing a cell tower can cost upwards of $200,000 and so the company needs to see a quick return on investment. Using either a XPANDAcell repeater or our RF Over Fibre solution (FTP-5000), we can help extend the cell phone coverage area for less than $20K, or 10% of the cost of a new cell tower. We can therefore provide an almost immediate ROI, increase revenue for the provider, and make customers happy. A win-win situation for everyone.
2. Rental Companies or Distributors - Our Repeaters are also used in Oil and
Gas drilling rigs as well as mining and exploration companies. Traditionally these companies will rent our repeaters on daily basis. Daily rental rates are in the order of $85 per day or more. The factory direct cost for a XPANDAcell repeater is $15,000. A rental company, using the $85 per day fee, will recover the initial investment in 176 days, ie. less than six months. All rentals beyond this are additional income to the rental company.

The RPT-9000 extends existing cell towers up to90km/60 miles for areas with limited or low reception.
The FPT-5000 extend the cellular RF signal over fiberoptic cable. This allows service around large obstacleslike mountains and large buildings.
