Boys and Girls Varsity

Experience: I grew up playing soccer right here in Warner Robins beginning with the Central Georgia Soccer Association (CGSA). As a teenager, I played club soccer in Atlanta with Concord Fire and also played on the Georgia State ODP team. Played high school soccer at Warner Robins HS and holds the school record for single season goals scored (29). Played collegiate soccer at both Middle Georgia College and the University of North Georgia. Returned to Warner Robins and began coaching at CGSA as both a youth coach and select coach with Southern Alliance Futbol (SAF). In 2018 coached the HoCo Boys Varsity team and is currently the coach for both the Boys and Girls Varsity teams.

Colleges Attended: Middle Georgia College; University of North Georgia. Experience: This is my first year coaching at HOCO, and I could not be happier. I coached at Spalding High School the past 2 years and at Wesleyan College the year before that. I have played soccer all my life. I played for many years at AFC, 4 years at Spalding High School and 4 years at Wesleyan College.

Profession: Math Teacher at Houston County High School

Colleges Attended: Wesleyan College (Bachelors)

Favorite Soccer Moments: My favorite soccer memories range from playing to coaching. I remember in high school we were playing a very important region game and we were tied at the end. Being a goalkeeper, I was extremely nervous about the PK’s. We got down to the final shot for each team, and again we were tied. Our team shot first and made it. Then the other team shot and I saved it. I still remember my team tackling me with excitement. As far as my favorite coaching memory goes, my JV girls’ team had an okay season. We won a few and lost a few, but something changed when we started playing in our county JV tournament. My girls picked themselves up and came together as a team. We made it to the final game and were playing against a team that had already beaten us twice that season. My girls did not let that stop them. They played their hearts out and won the championship.My Moto In Sports: “Great opportunities come to those who make the most of small ones.”Season Outlook: This is an exceptional group of young men and women. They have a lot of talent, and even more determination. There is very strong leadership on each team, and ample amounts of dedication. With hard work, and coming together as a team they will be extremely successful this season. I hope to help transform our players to the best of the best, and with the help of Coach Daly I know we can accomplish that. Go Bears!
