Objectives
Encourage the youth of South Africa to participate in STEMI activities in order to promote an interest in these areas and
develop scientific skills
Expo for Young Scientists was established in 1980 to achieve the following:
Create opportunities for young students to develop and pursue their interests in an encouraging and rewarding environment, and
to improve tertiary education prospects.
Accelerate inclusive economic growth, make the economy more competitive and improve people's everyday lives.
