This one-day course explores the key issues in developing a feasibility model.Participants are required to have a basic level of understanding and experience using Microsoft Excel. This course can be undertaken as a stand-alone program or as an elective towards the Property Development Industry Diploma.

The Feasibility Workshop will help you realise the value of your land or asset. It looks at the viability of a proposed development/redevelopment and attempts to answer one main question: will the development work and should you proceed with it?

AIM

By the end of this course you will understand the feasibility process, have the skills to run a feasibility model and understand the importance of validating inputs and assumptions.

This one-day course explores risk management, one of the core skills a successful developer needs. This course can be undertaken as a stand alone program or as an elective towards the Property Development Industry Diploma.

To overview the major risk management concepts developers need to understand, and an introduction to tools such as market analysis, risk measurement and effective strategies for dealing with risk in property development projects.

By the end of this course, participants will be prepared to identify, evaluate and manage the risks in a property development project. The objectives are to understand why some property development projects fail, explore market cycles and the importance of timing for a project, and uncover strategies for managing risk.

This one-day course is designed to give participants an understanding from a property development perspective of the key components of project management, from the idea stage through to the delivery of a development. This course can be undertaken as a stand-alone program or as an elective towards the Property Development Industry Diploma.

The aim of this course is to explore aspects of a project from design and initiation through to delivery and deals with issues such as risk, quality, cost and design.

AIM

By the end of this course you will have an understanding of the role a project manager plays in the development process. The objectives are to overview the skills required to successfully deliver a project on time and on budget while managing a variety of stakeholders and mitigating risks. You will explore the concept of risk management within a project and how to plan for, control and review risk; and examine the process of contracting and procurement of services for a project.
