Red light has higher wavelength, so it travels

more distance without scattering. Because of

that we saw the sun is reddish in colour on the

sun rise and sun set times.

lower wavelength are scattered more on the sky

compared with other lights. This scattered lights

spreads over the sky and as a result the sky is seen

in the blue colour.
