Oct 2015 Wholesale FCA Discussion

My opinion of the impact from FCA structure change:

• Increase in Standard Service FCA rate volatility

• Caused by some high load factor customers (BCDs) no longer being included in the FCA for Standard Service.

• Increase in Standard Service FCA rate level

• Caused by some high load factor customers (BCDs) no longer being included in the FCA for Standard Service.

Oct 2015 Wholesale Demand Rate – Financial Impact

Date: June 2011Pre-October Structure On-Peak kWh: 4,245,144; Off-Peak kWh: 9,019,248

Cost Formula: (On-Peak kWh * On-Peak Rate) + (Off-Peak kWh * Off-Peak Rate)

Cost Calculation result: $502,600

Pre-October Structure On-Peak kWh: 3,233,000; Off-Peak kWh: 10,031,392

Cost Formula: (On-Peak kWh * On-Peak Rate) + (Off-Peak kWh * Off-Peak Rate)

+ (All kWh * 0.00071)

Cost Calculation result: reduction of ($22,267) + $9,418 = ($12,849)
