Each time you get dressed up to go out, you have many different eye makeup options… it really just depends on your mood and outfit! You can draw a cat eye, you can leave them bare to keep the focus on a bold lip, you can rim the inner water-line, you can do a classic smoky eye, or… you can do a Sparkle Smudge! It’s dramatic and ultra-feminine and very compliment-heavy. So add this option to your repertoire and I trust you’ll bring it out on the perfect occasion! Here’s how:

TOOLS:

Longwear Eyeliner Pencil: You can use a kohl pencil as well, but when you smudge it, it’s going to dissi-pate too much, so I recommend using a longwear pencil so it’s more

intense and lasts longer. Try Laura Mercier Longwear Creme Eye Pencil in Espresso or Wet N Wild Megalast Eye Pencil in Black/Brown.

Sparkle Shadow: I used Bobbi Brown Sparkle Eyeshadow on Lexi above because it’s the perfect amount of sparkle without getting showgirl.

Voluminous Mascara: I used Covergirl Bombshell Volume Mascara because it gives the biggest lashes out there right now.

STEPS:

Line the upper lashline. Make it a generous line and not too thin!

Next, line the lower lashline. While you’re down there, rim the inner

waterline as well.

Smudge the upper liner with your finger by rubbing your finger back and forth to really smear the liner onto the lid. Keep most of the inten-sity towards the lashline and the rest on your lid (keep it south of the crease). If you need a refresher, revisit my Smudging 101 Tutorial.

Smudge the lower liner with your finger as well.

Press your finger into the sparkle shadow to pick up the product as demonstrated above. You can cer-tainly use a brush, but I love the control you have with your finger.

Press the shadow directly on top of the smudged upper liner. Stamp it all over the liner then continue just above it into the crease.

Press the shadow onto the lower smudged liner as well.

Finish with a couple coats of mascara.

Two things that have been consistently problematic for most people I meet (or hear from via email) is that they are confused about layers and equally confused about how to ask for what they want from their hairstylist. I wanted to start a new series to help us get through that together! My hope is that with a little extra informa-tion, nobody will have to suffer through a haircut they didn’t want ever again!

ASK FOR:A blunt cut that clears the shoulders. No layersAsk your hairstylist to help you decide on the most flatter-ing length for your face, some-where between your chin and your shoulders. If your hair is superfine but you have a ton of hair, you may want to ask your hairstylist to do a subtle undercut in the back so it doesn’t appear too bulky and unflattering behind your head.GOOD FOR:Making fine hair appear thicker.anyone who likes to wear their hair straight.

ASK FOR:A blunt cut on the bottom with some piece-y layers for move-ment and texture.Something low maintenance that can be blow dried or air dried, curled with an iron or look good straight.GOOD FOR:Bloggers. HA! I’m kidding. But isn’t this such a blogger haircut. Those who love the EVERY DAY WAVE.Anyone growing out their fine to normal hair.

Enter Cate Underwood: the 23-year-old model/photographer/DJ, who not only knows the secrets to working it in front of the camera (she modeled for Vogue Russia), but also knows what looks best from behind the camera (she’s shot for Vogue Ukraine, ELLE Ukraine, and Harper’s Bazaar Ukraine). Read on for Underwood’s insider tips so at your next holiday party or family gathering, you’ll be pre-pared to look your very best when the flash comes your way.

The Key To A Natural Smile “Usually I ask to be told a joke, so I can smile naturally, which is the best kind of smile.”

The Most Flattering Position

“Cross your legs.”

Trick For Better PosturePretend you are squeezing a lemon in between your shoulder blades to instantly improve slump-ing shoulders.

Avoid A Double Chin“Move your chin a little forward and down.”

Makeup Secrets“A little bit of highlighter on the cheekbones and inside angles of the eyes looks good.”

Even The Playing FieldIn a group shot, make sure you are all an even distance from the camera. If one person is closer to the lens, they will look bigger.

Instantly Thin ArmsDon’t jam your arms up against your body, as it will flatten them. Instead, hold them out from your body.

If You’re Not Feeling Confident, Fake It“When you are just starting to model, you are nervous all the time. Experience makes a big dif-ference for your confidence in front of the camera.”

Define Your JawPretend there is a string pulling up your nose ever so slightly, which will help define your jawline.

Know Your Better Side, And Use It!“Since I was a child I already knew my ‘better’ side or at least I thought that it is a better one.” To find your best side, take a few selfies of each side, and compare to see which you prefer.

Emphasize Your Eyes“Use makeup to make your eyes look bigger. Any tricks to open your eyes wider won’t look natural.”

Project Happiness“The only way is to be yourself at this point and start to love even your defects—that is exactly.

actress Ragaa al-Gedawy, one of the owners and director of Vogue Center Iman Afifi, CEO of Retail Pro Mohamed Tolba and the co-owner of Face2Face, an organization that manages Miss Egypt, Youssef Spahi. The second day was jam packed with three fashion shows unique style. The closing ceremony kicked off with wedding suits and tuxedos for grooms by Maximus, followed by an out-of-the-ordinary Jotun fashion show. Saving the best for last Most of Behairy’s followers are used to his floor-length gowns, but for the very first time, the prominent designer introduced a number of short dresses as part of his 2014 collection. His special touch, however, was still visible. Silver, black, white and golden were the dominant colors, but the new collection featured vivid colors such as green, red, sky blue and shades of pink, which gave the dresses a bright and cheerful vibe. The gowns that were seen on the runway were all impressive, which makes it difficult to pinpoint the beauty of just one. That is why I selected my favorite three. The first one is a full-length gown made out of beige silk tulle, heavily embellished in black beads that are scattered all over the gown. The left shoulder is covered by a long cape sleeve down to touch floor, giving the dress a bit of an off-beat, yet elegant look. My next favorite design is a V-neck dress with hand-beaded detail and long sleeves. The gown’s front and back are densely embroiled with shimmering silver and golden beads on semi-transparent beige tulle, seductively revealing parts of the body. The wedding dress definitely stands out from the crowd. Silver glitter-ing beads covered the bustline, extending down to the waistline. The dress then opens to a wide skirt with big floral lace embellishments. The long veil is delicately adorned just along the edges, matching the same lace pattern of the lower part of the dress. The closing ceremony saw heavy media presence, in addition to many celebrities, including Tunisian actress Doraa among others. The event concluded with judges announcing the top five winners who will get a chance to attend the Paris Fashion Week event next year, which is dubbed as one of the most important fashion events internationally.31Gfeited you engrossed but gay sometimes explained. 1. Congrats! You’re preg-nant. A healthy diet is now more important than ever.

Whether or not you’re used to eating a healthy diet, you probably know that now, it’s not just about you anymore. Your doctor can offer specifics about what this means for you but in general, you’ll want to eat plenty of whole grains, fruits, vegeta-bles, and lean proteins — spe-cifics will vary from woman to woman, depending on her age, height, weight, physical activ-ity level and stage of preg-nancy. Variety is important, too, because different foods have different nutrients, and you want all of them.

2. Eat plenty of folate-rich

foods like spinach, beans, and cantaloupe for your baby’s healthy brain development.

It’s super important for women to get enough folate — even before they get preg-gers. So if you’re ~trying~ to stick a bun in the oven, start upping your folate intake ASAP. Folate, also called folic acid, is an essential nutrient for devel-oping fetuses. “Folate is used to develop brain and spinal cord in the first four weeks of preg-nancy,” says Dr. Afua Mintah, a New York City-based obstetri-cian-gynecologist. “So before [a woman] even misses her cycle, she needs that folate on board.”

3. Make sure you’re getting plenty of iron.

Blood is very important during pregnancy because it brings oxygen, hormones and vitamins from your body to the baby, and carries waste away. And since women will lose blood during birth, keeping blood counts up becomes even more vital.

4. Avoiding beer, wine, and any other alcoholic beverages is probably your safest bet.

“Any alcohol at all should be avoided,” says Mintah. When a mother consumes alcohol, it is passed to the baby through the umbilical cord and can lead to fetal alcohol spectrum dis-orders (FASDs), which can include facial deformities, low body weight, learning disabili-ties, problems with vital organs, and other conditions.

“There is no known safe amount of alcohol during preg-nancy or when trying to get pregnant,” according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Therefore, many experts say the safest plan is not to consume any.

5. Cravings for ice, dirt, cig-arette ashes or other non-food substances could be a sign of a condition called pica.

Congrats! You’re pregnant. A healthy diet is now more important than ever.

It’s usually wise to resist the urge: Eating non-food items, even dirt, can be toxic and potentially dangerous to you and your baby’s health. If you’re experiencing these symptoms, let your doctor know.

6. Most pregnant women are getting enough calcium in their diets, but vegans need to make an extra effort.

Adult pregnant and lactat-ing women should consume at least 1,000 milligrams of calcium each day. (Teens need even more — 1,300mg per day.) Calcium is especially important in the last three months of preg-nancy, according to the National Institutes of Health.

7. Eating foods with probiot-ics, like yogurt and homemade kimchi, may stave off yeast infections.

Probiotics are often added to yogurts and naturally occur in fermented foods like home-made sauerkraut and kimchi. Store-bought versions of these foods, though, are often pas-teurized and therefore do not have probiotics.

8. You can still have your morning cup of coffee, but doctors recommend sticking with just the one.

Good news, pregnant coffee lovers: It’s not off the menu. While there were once concerns that caffeine was dangerous to pregnancies, the most recent studies conclude that consum-ing low levels of caffeine — under 200 milligrams per day — isn’t likely to contribute to mis-carriage or preterm birth.

9. Eating fish is good for you, but some fish have too much mercury — so pick your fishes carefully.

“Women should eat shrimp, salmon, catfish, and pollack,” says Mintah. They should avoid long-living, large, high-mercury fish at the top of the food chain, notably shark, swordfish, king mackerel, and tile fish. Tuna fish is tricky: Canned light tuna (but not cans labeled “white”) is low in mercury and can be eaten as part of the FDA’s rec-ommended limit of 12 ounces of fish per week. Albacore tuna (which means most tuna steaks or “white” tuna), however, is higher in mercury and pregnant women are advised not to eat more than 6 ounces per week.

10. Pregnant women need to be extra careful about salmonella.

Make sure to cook meat until

it’s well done, wash your cutting boards, counters and hands with soap when handling raw foods (including fruits and veg-etables!), And store everything properly. You should also stay away from yummy things like runny eggs, cake batter,

11. Listeria is also extra dan-gerous for pregnant women.

12. Doctors recommend pregnant ladies only eat an extra 300 calories a day.

13. If you’re overweight, obese or had excessive weight gain during pregnancy, a weight-loss diet can be healthy for both you and your baby.
