Front cover images • Difficulties I may encounter whilst producing my

magazine may be things such as weather. While

producing a practice college magazine, I

experienced the difficulties of taking a photo outside

because it was raining whilst I was taking the picture

therefore; this affected the appearance of the model.

To prevent these problems during my photo shoot, I

will perform it indoors so that the weather is not a

problem.

•Also, I may have restricted access to equipment for

taking photos such as a camera. I may not always be

able to lend a camera from the college and I may not

be able to have access to a family member or

friend’s camera. To prevent this problem from

occurring, I will make sure that I have the correct

equipment well in advance to the photo shoot.

Article Inside Magazine • Problems I may have with producing the article

may be things such as; restricted access to software

such as Microsoft Word or PowerPoint where I

would type up a draft of my article. In order to

prevent this problem, I will ensure that I have

downloaded Microsoft Office onto my own laptop

and verify with the college that the documents will

also be installed on their computers.

• Another problem may be limited access to

stationary. If I wanted to write down a draft of the

article and not having access to stationary may delay

this process. To prevent this I will make sure that I

have the adequate stationary.

• One more problem may be not being able to record

an interview. I may want to include an interview in

my article and not having any interviewees may be a

problem. I must make sure that I have someone to

actually record (preferably someone from a band)

and also that I have the appropriate equipment to

record an interview such as a phone or a recorder.

Article Inside Magazine • Similar to the previous row, I may encounter

problems with weather. In order to avoid this

problem, I will again, probably perform the photo

shoot in an indoor location so that the weather won’t

affect the photo.

•Another problem may be the fact that my article

will probably be a double page spread. This means

that I may have to stretch the image slightly so that

it matches the proportions of the double page spread.

This may distort the image and also make it look

very pixelated which I wouldn’t want. I will have to

either make sure that the picture’s dimensions are

big enough so that it isn’t too big for the double page

spread. Or I could just place the image on only one

of the pages to prevent the problem.
