Sripada Raugi Sinai Advolpalcar, Fiscal of Port Works and Dredglngs of the Administration of the Port of Mormugao - retired from service under article 9 of the Civil' Service R:egula;tion -approved by Decree no. 40 708, da1ed the 31st July, 1956, with the following definite pension:

Yearly pension of Rs. 6768/-, relating to 40 years of approved se,rvice, in a:ccordance with the a:rticles 445 and 447 of the Civil Service Regulation and the limitation mentioned in the article 450 of the same Regulation, accordi·ng to the basic p8Jy corresponding to the letter «L» affixed to his post as per Decree no. 41266 of 13-9-1957 and conferred to the respective group by article 1 of the Decree no. 42 325 of 16-6-1959.

The expenditure :in respect of this pension will be shared between the Government of Goa, Daman and Diu and the Administration of the Port of Mormugao in the proportion of 0,837 and 0,163 or Rs. 5664-81 n. p. and Rs. 1103-19 n. p. to which correspond, respectively, 35 years, 9 months and 19 days ,and 6 years, 11 months and 19 days including 1/5 of total service.

In accordance with article 4 of the said Decree no. 42 325, the ,pensioner ha:s to pay to the Govern·ment and to the Admi'nhtl'a.Uon of the Port .of Mormugao the indemnity of Rs. 21'24-29 n, p. and Rs. 179-11 n. p., respectively, in 96 monthly dnsta:lments.

The pension chargeable to the Government of Goa, Daman and Diu will be met by item S-Pensions and other retirement benefits - of the Government budget in force and the pension ch~l.!rgea:ble to the Port Administr8Jtion wiU be met by pr1vate budget of the Mormugao Port Administration.

As the aiIHount of Rs. 1841-4-5 n. p. towaTds retirement compensation for the period from 25-6-1956 to 31-5-1962 has been credited into Government Treasury, the -amount of the pension chargeable to the Administration of the Port of Mormugao will be met by Government ti1l the whole amount of compensation is utilised.
