Notes on the next design• I took a significantly different approach after this, taking the

feedback suggestion to experiment with different designs. • I went with a more corporate look and wanted to show off

the design of the product with product photography.• I used proximity to group specifications I wanted to

highlight, rather than including a long paragraph about the product.

Notes on the next design• In the next design you will see I brought back

the “protecting the connected home” element from the first design. I really liked that and wanted to try and combine it with the product imagery. This is the one I shared with the class – when it was pointed out that no one knew what Norton Core was.

Notes on the next design• During the week we played with color schemes I struggled. I am

too used to seeing Symantec products in Black, Yellow and Grey. Of my submissions I liked the monochrome the best. Dr. Bucy found some red on it though, that I missed!

• I did like this design, but felt it needed color• My favorite element was the large image of the router going off

the page• Apologies for the neck turning that will be required for the last

few designs.

Notes on the next design• I got funky with type – I imitated a typography

poster I saw online for this one – and spent a long time trying to make the image show correctly behind my big C and extend the black below it. Including this one because it is so different.

• It wasn’t my favorite from they typography week, but I was glad to see I could branch out a bit.

Notes on the final design• As the term went on I found I much preferred the vertical

image. • I went for high contrast in type and stuck with the two

color scheme of black and yellow – which matched the feel for me the best – very Symantec.

• I liked the high end feel that the white space provided along with the clean image, although I had prettier product photography that played well earlier.
