IOT BASED GREEN HOUSE MONITORING AND CONTROLLING SYSTEM B L O C K D I A G R A M A b s t r a c t: Green House systems are need of more growth in less time. Green house effect is increasing because pollution is increasing. So naturally there is imbalance in temperature, water level or humidity. So to grow a natural crop is seriously a challenge for our farmers. So here we are designing a system which will work in critical conditions and will maintain desired temperature, humidity level and light fading. So our crop will grow with sufficient minerals and vitamins. And the Green House parameters will be checked from any places i.e. no need to go to farm or the place where system is implemented. W O R K I N G: Controlling: In this project we have used three sensors 1. LDR the light sensor 2. Humidity sensor 3. Temperature sensor These sensors give outputs in analog form. ADC is used to convert these analog signals into digital signals. And these converted digital signals are given to Micro-controller 8051(AT89s52). Micro-controller checks the signal levels, compares them with the conditions of maintaining green house balance takes proper action according to the conditions it is facing. e.g. Tomato needs temperature between 14-16 degree celcius to grow. So we divided the temperature(T) level into three levels (1) Medium: 14<T<16 (2) Low: T<14 (3) High: T>16. Now when level is low Microcontroller will ON the heater, when level is high Microcontroller will ON the cooling fan and at Medium level it will off heater and cooling fan both. Similarly we can say that it uses humidity sensor and light sensor and makes water pump and lamp ON-OFF respectively. Relays are just used as switching element and relay driver circuit to interface relay with microcontroller. Controlling part is automatic after making system ON. In the critical conditions we use RESET to protect our system over damage threat. Monitoring: Here we will monitor Green House parameters using internet of things at any place in the world. We are using Windows laptop to monitor and program the chip. Using RS232 port we will get status of Green House system parameters through 8051 on our laptop. And then that data is uploaded over cloud through our web server and is made accessible over internet to our users. F a c u l t y: DR. MAITRI J. W O R K I N G:

• Controlling:

In this project we have used three sensors –
