tagline - further reiterate our social media topic. ‘Fitspo’ connoting being inspired to work out, and
‘#’ connoting social trends, highlighting the
impact on our target audience.
Pink, Green and white colour scheme/Costumes
- connote getting fit, attracting young girls to the bright colours. Green
connoting health and fitness, pink connoting
womanhood and compassion for one
another.
Performance/ hands on hips stance - connote standing up to social
medias pressures. Uniting amongst women against the expectations of how
to look and feel promoted by social media.
How we have met conventions?• One central image - to capture the
audience at first glance. Connoting how the pressures laid upon women lie central to their esteem and confidence.
• Institutional regulations at the foot of the page.
• We have broken the rule of thirds convention of the poster form, which following on from research we found that many documentary posters do. We found that placing our text in the middle of the page, upon her ab muscles creates an alternative focal point.
