Poster Analysis

Page 2: Poster analysis

- As the main body of the poster the artist has decided to use the image from the album fade it out and made it pink, to further make the connection he/she has put the album in the bottom left corner

- For the main text they have used the title of the album and put it in the same font as the album title and in all The Vaccines Font (including other text on this poster)

- Underneath they have simply put the date in dd.mm.yy format and put it in a box to make it stand out- The only other bit of information on this page is reviews from famous music magazines in their genre- What I like from this poster is how all o the text is centered and the simplicity of it

Page 3: Poster analysis

- This is poster for Wild Flag but instead it being from the band its from the shops point of view

- There are two main images on this poster this is the album cover and a picture of the band, this could be to create a solid relationship between them

- Unlike the other poster this album is already out and instead of having a release date it has a price

- All the text is in the font of the HMV sign which we can presume is who the poster is from

- This does have a review from NME but it is the only one unlike the Vaccines one

- What they have which is different is the different ways you can get the album, which are pop in store, their website to order it or download it

- What I like about this poster is that it isn't the standard A4 which we see in most adverts and its something I will think about when creating my advert/posters

Page 4: Poster analysis

- This poster completely uses the band as their image, I reckon this is because the band is not well knows so it creates a relationship with the band to the band title

- Like The Vaccines poster it does include a small image of the album cover but like The Vaccines one it just seems to be there and looks out of place

- The artists has used two fonts, one for the band name and one for the rest of the text (I like how they have put all three words in the band title together

- I like the lighting in the image as if someone has shone a torch at the band to take the photo
