KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

The 11th International Wine and Spirits Exhibi-tion was held from 14 to 16 June 2018 at the ExpoGeorgia Exhibition Centre. This year there were 118 participants from 12 countries and the number of visitors were 4 550. The event once again demonstrated its importance on both regional and international markets. The success of the exhibition can also be contributed to the fact that small and family-run vineyards and cellars were exhibiting together with large

companies, presenting a variety of unique Geor-gian wines and spirits. The visitors had a chance to taste a wide variety of wines and to get acquainted with both traditional and modern trends. The 10th International Wine Competition was held during the exhibition. From a total of 238 wines, 203 received awards as indicated: Trophies - 7, Gold Medals - 22; Silver Medals - 68; Bronze Medals - 106
