A total of 350 exhibitors from 30 countries were featured across five key segments and included 8 country pavilions, an increase of 60% from last year. This year’s immersive experience included the introduction of the Collaboration Lab which offered the perfect business matching opportunity helping SMEs in Asia-Pacific to adopt a bite-sized approach in deploying industry 4.0 solutions, and the new Robotics Experimental Zone with innovative displays, interactive exhibits and demonstrations designed to showcase robotics usage in different industries.

A total of 23,000 attendees from 77 countries attended Industrial Transformation ASIA-PACIFIC 2019. This included representatives

from regional governments, associations and business delegations from Brunei, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong SAR, Indonesia, Japan,

Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, the Philippines, the Russian Federation, Thailand and Vietnam. Over 200 qualified

participants from Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam participat-

ed in our hosted buyer programme, of which 73% hold senior management positions. Over 1,000 meetings were pre-scheduled via our

business matching platform and 1,100 meetings took place onsite between exhibitors and attendees.

Collaboration LabTruly Affordable, Customisable Industry 4.0 Solutions Featured bite-size, customisable solutions that are targeted at SMEs. The range of displays and demonstrations of affordable, cost-effective solutions were selected to show SMEs that Industry 4.0 solutions are within their reach.

SandboxesPeer-to-peer Sharing Two sandboxes with over 60 free-to-attend sessions that shared insights and accounts of Industry 4.0 deployment experiences by manufacturers and practitioners. Speakers represented enterprises promoting Industry 4.0, solution providers, end-users, government agencies, associations, R&D agencies and labs, higher education institutions and community groups. The Sandbox design was inspired by the famous rice terraces in rice farming regions of South East Asia.

Robotics Experimental ZoneA New World of Robotics for Advanced Manufacturing and Service Industries The new Robotics Experimental Zone with innovative displays, interactive exhibits and demonstrations was developed in collaboration with Singapore Industrial Automation Association, and designed to showcase robotics usage across different industries. The Zone received overwhelming response from attendees who participated in talks, workshops and interacted with hands-on demonstrations of cost-effective ready-to-purchase solutions developed by local and international solution providers..
