Post-Ruby and other NiEm Concerns Background December 1, 2014 (around 9:50 a.m.) Tropical Storm with an international name Hagupit was monitored outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) over the Pacific Ocean. December 4 (around 3 a.m) Typhoon Hagupit entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility and was named RUBY. December 5 Typhoon Ruby has gained more strength and slightly slowed down as it continues to move west northwest towards Eastern Visayas. Workshop was held to determine next steps and to review the City Nutrition Action Plan in response to the findings of the SMART Survey presented to the City Health Office on 1 October in Zamboanga City. Bicol Regional Nutrition Cluster Update Zamboanga City Nutrition Cluster Update DOH Region Office V funded a 3-day live-in Training on Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition for Medical and Allied Health Professionals on October 2014 at Villa Angelina Hotel, Legazpi City NNC RO V delivered Ready to Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF) supplies in RHUs/Nutrition Office of Daraga, Camalig, Guinobatan, Malilipot, Sto. Domingo, Tabaco City and Ligao City. Domingo Albay) were also distributed.
