About Us

GMS Post Office BuildingsFollowing the successful design and construction of modular rural banks, GMS was challenged to design a

modular rural post office building to cater for satellite villages in PNG. Like the bank buildings, the core of the

design was security and functionality. Some of the highlights of our post office building includes mail sorting

station, PO Box storage and collection centre, manager’s office, double steel skin exteriors to provide better

security against local conditions and custom built teller joinery with built in anti jump screens for customer

service windows.

With a custom prefabricated over roof structure, the

building models a commercial office building rather

than a rectangle modular cabin design.

The design and installation delivered on the client

brief and will become a hub for the exchange of

information, packages and mail.
