Post-mortem Care Products has, in collaboration with Qleans*, developed

a product that can disrupt the organic decomposition that

always occurs after death. The Q and S in Qleans stand

for Quorum Sensing**, the technique upon which the

Qleans products are based. When bacteria work

together, they are harmful. However, if this cooperation

is disrupted, the harmful effects are stopped. Quorum

Sensing means that the body of a deceased person can

be treated in a natural way to prevent decomposition

and the associated phenomena, and thereby stabilize the

condition of the deceased.

Post-Mortem Care Professional is the result of cooperation between Post-Mortem Care

Products and Qleans. The basis of this product is the Quorum Sensing technique. A

natural concentrate of different microbes temporarily eliminates the “bad” bacteria in

and on the body of the deceased which cause the decomposition process.

Decomposition occurs because the vital functions are inoperative at death. The cells do not receive any more

energy. The cells will then destroy themselves (autolysis) and the micro-organisms (bacteria, among others) will

digest the tissues. The digestive tract contains many bacteria and these bacteria are given free rein when the

vital functions stop. The dead cells become food for these bacteria, which release gases such as CO2, H2S, NH3,

CH4, and other volatile products of decomposition. The skin changes color in the days after death, initially turning

green and then after about two weeks black. The various gases also provide the typical “decomposition odor”.

Before you begin caring for a deceased person, make a solution of 250 ml Post-Mortem Care

Professional and 750 ml of water***. During the personal care of the deceased, you spray

the corners of the eyes and mouth and nasal cavity with the solution.You also atomize

the product over the face. This prevents the bacteria in the mouth and nasal cavity from

initiating the decomposition process. Thus the body of the deceased will remain in good

condition longer, allowing for a dignified farewell.

If there is gas and fluid accumulation in the abdominal and thoracic cavity or swelling in the

face, then a positive result can be achieved through an abdominal puncture with the same

solution of this product with a nebulizer in the abdomen or thorax. This will decrease

the swelling of the face and the stomach will decrease in size, allowing the

deceased to regain his or her former figure. In addition, atomizing the liquid

also in this area of the body will disrupt decomposition during the days

of lying in state.

The main mechanism by which Post-Mortem Care Professional

works involves the ‘consumption of the biofilm’. This is something a

classic chemical preservative or body cleanser is less

effective at doing (and is bad at in long-time use).

Because the Quorum Sensing technique breaks

down the biofilm, the use of aggressive periodic

products is no longer necessary.

the ADR guidelines (the guidelines for

transport of dangerous goods by road).

*** The solution made from Post-Mortem Care Professional and

water can be used for up to three days. After that it becomes

less effective and you must create a new solution. Of course, you

can always make it in smaller quantities.
